Abstract
This research aims to: (1) Utilizing the technology of Augmented Reality in the field of education such as dictionaries, so that the application does not only display words only, but also displays the animation which is a clone of the specified object in 3 dimensions, (2) introduce English to early childhood in interesting ways. In developing a learning more interesting and efficient use of Augmented Reality by utilizing camera features android smartphone, then the method used in this research is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle, where this method has 6 stages, namely, concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing and distribution. (Luther, 1994).The results of this research is an English learning application for kids with the utilization of android-based Augmented Reality technology that serves to display the virtual object object which is the visualization of vocabulary that is being studied. These applications can assist children in learning English through pictures and sound that feels real.
