IMPLEMENTASI METODE TREND LINEAR LEAST SQUARE PADA SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PERAMALAN MAHASISWA BARU

Abstract

This study builds a forecasting decision support system for new students at STMIK Professionals, in order to assist the management of institutions in the decision making process to determine the number of potential new mahassiwa be received annually. This research aims to implement this method of Trend Linear Least Square (the square of the smallest) to predict the number of new students will be accepted. The data used is data freshman last 5 years. Applications created can be used to forecast or predict the number of new students 1 next year. If the actual data in a predictable inputted, the application can predict the next year again.
