PENERAPAN METODE FIRST IN FIRST OUT (FIFO) PADA SISTEM SMS BROADCAST BERBASIS CLOUD COMPUTING

Abstract

SMS Broadcast is an sms gateway that allows the exchange of data or information via SMS, between incoming and outgoing SMS with the help of a cellular telephone device or a modem. To facilitate the delivery of information to users and minimize the use of costs, it would be nice if there were applications that manage all of them to be easy and appropriate in delivering information. In this study, to overcome this problem the researcher made an SMS Broadcast application to deliver information in the form of a web application with implementation using PHP and MySQL combined with Gammu software as a Gateway server, so the SMS Broadcast application designed made it easier for users to find information according to user needs. The application of Gateway (Short Message Service) as a technology used to support the CRM concept is very effective and efficient. Almost everyone has a cellphone, so SMS is a good means of conveying information because it is fast and reaches directly to other users, besides because of the low cost.
